Hi I'm Lorillee Paras!
I earned my B.A. in Television, Film, and Media Studies with a minor in Entertainment Marketing from California State University, Los Angeles. I am a SoCal–based storyteller and production professional with over seven years of experience across commercials, short films, live events, advocacy, and community-driven media projects. I began my career in 2018, as a freelance Office and Set Production Assistant in the entertainment industry, building a strong foundation in production coordination and on-set operations before expanding into producing collaborative, culturally grounded work.
In addition to my production work, I have supported Los Angeles nonprofits and arts organizations through event production and community engagement initiatives. In 2024, I became the Strategy and Development Lead at Mahalaya SF, a volunteer-run publication centering Filipino and Filipino American voices through community-centered journalism and solidarity reporting. My work is rooted in uplifting BIPOC storytellers and communities by centering voices both behind and in front of the camera. Aiming to create meaningful stories that deepen understanding, inspire action, and challenge gatekeeping in the tv & film industry.

I’m currently focused on producing two projects. These projects reflect my ongoing commitment to supporting storytellers and creatives in crafting narratives that not only captivate audiences, but to produce meaningful storytelling, bridge understanding, spark dialogue, and move people toward action.
